The field of digital forensics is rapidly evolving and continues to gain significance in both the law enforcement and the scientific community. Being intrinsically interdisciplinary, it draws upon a wide range of subject areas such as information & communication technologies, law, social sciences and business administration.

We are pleased to announce and warmly invite you to participate in the 8^th Annual Workshop on Digital Forensics and Incident Analysis (WDFIA). The event will be held over the 8-10 May 2013 and graciously hosted at the ISEG School of Economics and Management, Lisbon, Portugal. The workshop will also run alongside the European Information Security Multi-Conference - a collection of information security events including the Seventh International Symposium on Human Aspects of Information Security and Assurance. Selected papers from the workshop will also be invited to contribute towards a special edition of the International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics.
